Our wines
We have four kinds of wines , two in the AOC (wine of controlled origin in France) Lussac St-Emilion :
- Château Haut-Jamard : the traditional one
A blending of 80% of Merlot, 15 % Cabernet-Sauvignon and 5 % of Cabernet-Franc
Average age of the plantings : 35 years
Yield : about 55 hl/ha
Fermenting process and wine maturation in cement vats
- Prestige de Haut-Jamard : our special reserve
Single grape variety, 100 % of Merlot on only 1 hectare
Average age of the vines : 55 years
Yield : about 30 hl/ha
Fermentation in cement vats, then maturation in French oak barrels for about 12 months
- Château Haut-Jamard 2010 : wine for ageing, tannic, with structure but round
- Château Haut-Jamard 2011 : awards : Silver Medal at the « Concours des Féminalise de Beaune »
Silky, round, elegant, well-balanced - Prestige de Haut-Jamard 2010 : rich, complex, deep
- Prestige de Haut-Jamard 2011 : awards : Bronze Medal at the « Concours des Féminalise de Beaune » : concentrated, very fine
- Méthode traditionnelle rosée « Juline » : sparkling rosé wine
- Rosé « Lucile » available from march 2014
